Water level is almost 4 feet above full, very rare for this lake. Rescued 3 boats and 2 jet skis in my small cove. Can see floating boats out in the main lake this morning. If you know someone who has a boat slip better have them check on their boat. One neighbor's is boat is jammed up in the top of the boat house, bad news!

Must be dumping thousands of gallons of water into Sandlin. Last time it was dumping that much water into Sandlin it created a vortex in the drain and it literally blew like Old Faithful out the blow hole on Sandlin. I know they did some work on the dam between Sandlin and Cypress a few years ago so maybe they fixed that.

I just sent a good friend a picture and told him they were schooling in our back yard. Water is the highest I've seen it in the 8 years we've owned the house. Our dock is at least 2 feet under water and our patio and furniture is now great structure. We are headed out there this weekend and I think I may be able to pitch a jig from my deck to the furniture. smile

We are probably about to head down there to check on my dad's house and make sure his boat is still there.

We thought this might happen a few weeks ago so I tied down some of my buddies stuff and also moved all the stuff off our dock and anything that would float off our patio/fire place area. Here are a couple of picks my neighbor took this morning. It's MUCH worse in some other areas of the lake.

Are you on the West side of the 115 bridge? I think I recognize that place. My parents place is on the west side of the bridge but on the north shore

No. We are directly across from Tall Tree Marina. Walleye Park is just to the South of us.

Had a nice boat in my yard this morning. Saw several floating free on the main lake. One neighbors boat is jammed into the rafters of his boat house...bad news.
Don't you think Sandlin has got to be going up with all the water overflowing into it?

I was up there fishing a tournament about four years ago when it rose up over three feet while we were on the lake. We tied four or five boats to peoples docks that were floating away.
