POSSUM KINGDOM LAKE GATE RELEASE
The BRA will open one gate at Possum Kingdom Lake at about 8:30 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, December 15, to bring the lake level back down to its normal operational elevation of 999 feet above mean sea level. The gate will be open for about 8 hours.
Conditions in the watershed above Possum Kingdom remain saturated, and wet weather is currently in the forecast for next week. Making the short-term release tomorrow will provide a little more cushion for operation of the reservoir should rain return next week and into the Christmas Holiday.

Nice job ElectricSixes. I just got my phone call / text from BRA, it didn't say how long they expected to keep the gate open, so this is good stuff!
