The front is supposed to arrive in the San Antonio area around 2am. A line of severe thunder storms will quickly pass through. Forecast says most of the heavy rain will be in a area east of the IH 35 Corridor. San Antonio area is forecast to get about an inch of rain. The weather report further stated some of the storms could put out 2 inches depending where they go. The good news is the front is fast moving and that the rain will not last long. Hopefully no flooding! So far only got a drizzle all day. Side Note: The current is pretty strong on the Guadalupe and the Crappie bite is GOOD!

Monsoon here in East Texas, looks like a new wave of high, muddy water coming our way.
Sabine River is at high water levels not seen since 2009.

Tornado passed 1/4 mi from a buddy's home in Winnsboro last night. His rain gauge showed 5" this morning. That kind of activity North of us here on Palestine means the Neches River & the North end feeder creeks will be out their banks later today & stay that way for a spell. That means Pal will be over spillway as well. Shouldn't affect the crappie bite South of the big bridge. We NEED some COLD WEATHER!!

4.5 inches here south of Longview today. Sabine already out of its banks before this rain hit.

6.47" was the final tally. Back the boat in the creek behind the house, cut a couple of fences, and be on the lake in no time. I wonder if SRA considers my back 40 leaseback now?
