After getting humbled on Ray Hubbard awhile back, I went back to fishing from my kayak and started having a good time on the Brazos river below PK. 4 trips later and I have never been skunked .. not always large but I am able to find them, green or white they are there Finally last weekend I got into some decent sized striper, not Denison Dam sized, but big enough to get your heart beat up.

Thanks, just breaking in my waders out on the Brazos to get ready for the sand bass run

I'm sure the big ones are there. Last year I was crushing stripers in the lake but that all ended once those flood gates opened. PK had two more floods this fall so more went out.

Back in the summer, the stripers were very thin below the dam. I caught a limit of keepers on perch and must have caught 30 or more that were under 18 ".They looked like Dachau prisoners on their last legs. I'm sure the stripers will get nice and fat now that the state is feeding them trout.
