Now that it is finally dead stickin season I wanted to tune up my skills so I booked a morning with Matt Cartwright on Tawakoni. I sort of know how to do it and have all the stuff but wanted to see it done right so I'll enjoy the season more. It was glassy and cold to start but the fish were acting right. Caught some nice ones, my Buddy Clyde landed that nice 17lb fish. Matt taught us a lot. Looking forward to a winter of(big)fish.

Congrats on the 17 lber thumb ..... looking at the pic, one can't tell if it was the guide or the client were more excited about the fish ... j/k clap

Why do I go fishing? To catch a box of fish and/or some quality time under the sun. Thank Heaven I never fail fishing in Texas, catching box fish or plenty of sunburn.
