I live in Lewisville, already have escape routes mapped out. Places I know the road will be intact and above water. And I'm lucky to live on higher ground.

Always keep a bug out bag in the car folks. You never know when the [censored] is gonna hit the fan. This is one of those things where when it does happen, you need to be ready and mobile instantly.

Maybe Lewisville can bump up their ramp fees to help cover the costs.

It's a good thing I just closed my bank lockbox in Lewisvile and transferred all my valuable papers to a bank lockbox in Flower Mound.

It's not a Lake Lewisville dam breach bug out bag. It's an all purpose bug out bag. In it are "supplies".

Isn't that the 2nd or 3rd dam that has been on that lake. Wasn't it originally Lake Dallas and the dam
was either raised or replaced(not sure which). Then it was named Garza-Little Elm and then a new dam
was built downstream and it was changed to Lake Lewisville. Wonder what it will be called when it busts?

When it breaks, it will be called Elm Fork.
