Maybe the POTUS could take back a billion or so that he gives to his muslim friends and create some of those shovel ready jobs he bragged about. Probably not. He loves a good crisis or disaster. He would probably just blame it on too many guns in the hands of citizens and declare martial law.

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

I thought about the same thing. What did they plan to do after the 50 years?
The way I understand the article was that downtown Dallas could be under fifty feet of water if the dam fails. I just can not see it. Downtown is not in the flood plain. The warehouses along Riverfront Blvd. will be under water for sure.

Dallas is in floodplain and virtually all the Stemmons corridor from Loop 12 to Downtown. The only thing keeping Dallas dry is the levee system controlling the Trinity.

It was on 6pm news last night. Talking about fixing the slide. Whole things needs fixing but who's gonna pay the bill?

well seeing as how they are the ones that built it, and maintain it with federal money, that would only make since.
