Have not found a hook I'm crazy about for wacky rigged Senko's. What works for y'all? Thanks, 361v.

Use the lake fork senko rig or just a octopus hook then put a small zip to in the middle of the senko and hook it around the zip tie.... I know the way it sounds it might cause hook ups to suffer but I've never had a problem, usually always hooked right in the top of the mouth

I like the Owner Mosquito hooks in #1 or #1/0. I also use the same ones for drop shot. If I'm some nasty stuff I'll use the VMC #1 or1/0 wacky weedless hooks.

Gamakatsu Finesse Wide Gap Weedless. These have been pretty solid everytime I've used them. The weed guard works great. Also if your trying to make your senko last a little longer, they make a "wacky tool" which helps put an O ring in the center of your senko.

CHT Double Wacky Hook These are the bomb! Plain and simple! I've used a lot of different wacky hoooks (Trokar, Gamakatsu, Decoy, Owner, Mustad, VMC, etc..) but these are far superior! The double hook really increases your hookup ratio. And that's crucial because a lot of times the bite is very light on a wacky rig. You can choose between a weedless or non-weedless as well. The weedguard is a quality one too, it's held up nicely to numerous fish. I also don't get hung up more than other hooks even though it's a double hook. A lot of times a company has a great general concept but the actual product is lacking quality or there is a design flaw. Not these. Everything about them is perfect and they work!

I personally prefer the circle style weedless hooks, either the gamakatsu with the black plastic weed guard or the vmc with the metal wire guard size#2 to size#4. Advantage of using the circle style hooks is you don't have to set the hook, just put a nice bend in your rod and start reeling. Fish will hook himself, usually in the top or side of the mouth.Talk about a solid hook up. Wacky hooks being weedless is very important to me because I am alot of times fishing in the knarliest of structure and thick cover. That being said,If I don't have any of the circle style weedless hooks that I prefer, the regular weedless hooks work also just have to remember to get a good hookset.
