Water temp 53-56 most of the lake, fishing is slower than normal for this time of year. The A-Rig is starting to work again if you don't mind throwing it for several hours. The jig bite is the next best thing. Could not get a jerk bait bite the last two trips!

Several of the Bassmaster pro's are showing up on the lake before the cut off period. I don't think the weights will be a good for this classic as the prior one as the weights were down most of the year for all of the local tournaments but heck these guys always seem to find the fish.

Let's hope for much better weather than last year.

This lake seems to fish better when it's cold though. It could be really fun to watch!
