there was a stretch where the lake got a little low over the summer it was not accessible. Last I was up there was over Thanksgiving, and it really looked good.

Looks good but the fishing sucks. The meat eaters cleaned it out when the lake was low.

It's always been accessible since spring, you just had to really want it... The fishing has been awful up there and will stay that way for a while.

^^^The last time I was up there way a huge field of grass that wrapped the lower unit and shut off the water pressure. Worried that I would pop the motor I came back out. As if the stump fields were not enough...not worth it for a new motor.

Might want to hold up, according to reports Lavon has 12 gates open !!! Yes, definitely Class IV-V rapids up that way right now  !!

Exactly what Thomas said is correct I have been up there at least once every 2-3 weeks since April 30th. The fishing sucks honestly. As for the grass beds you had to run in on pad or you would get stuck...

yes.. because I went up there before we got the big rains in Oct that raised the lake. Due to the silting that was in the mouth and the grown up vegetation past the power lines due to the drought it was pretty much not navigable.
