FYI to all river novices! Don't listen to some of these guys on here. They love a good "crack up" river story.Even with the river up it takes some know how to get in and out safely. With it down you better know exactly what you are doing. So guys, stop enticing some folks to mess up their stuff.Thats because they have and misery loves company.Only one guy here, Chris, can run that as long as the pavement is wet.

It's not that big of a deal, I took a 28 foot twin screw steel hulled boat that weighs north of 5 tons up there several times this year...

Only my insurance company needed to hear the story. Most people think everyone is lying when they talk about the dangers there, I am not.
you def are a leader in the loss category north of the power lines I'd be intrigued to see that. I am at about 12k on two accidents so far. One accident was 100% my fault, the other was a combination of bad timing and bad luck.

The lake was 3ft low in sept/ocy so I seriously doubt the accessibility. Ok Boss, apparently you know more than most... I haven't had a problem getting in, put your foot on the gas! Been going up there for 30 plus years! Like it when it's super low!!

At the speed Climer runs in he scares the stumps. For the noobs: Don't follow Crankinstein, TDRoss or Tiltman into the river...and make sure you don't follow a jet boat. Nobody can keep up with Climer...so don't try. The stumps are real and they are trip enders. The grass is real and will wrap your water intake.

Sounds like a RH river trip could be pretty exciting journey, or one of the worst decisions you could ever make. Sure wouldn't want to end up stranded there, especially mid-week if there was no one around to lend you assistance if needed! My partner suggested we give it a shot,, I said sure, "Let's take YOUR boat, and let er rip, tater-chip!" Are the Orcs and river trolls out there in this cooler weather?

I saw a red Legend up there multiple times this fall. Speed is you best friend in less than a foot of water.

I would take my 14' tracker out there all the time. It was safest when it was low, cause you could see that big ol'stump that's at the entrance to the river.

Widowmaker by the power lines takes out more boats than the one you are referring to. I ran my boat for a few years with a broken off skeg thanks to something going into the river. Had it repaired and wacked something the first time out heading up there again.
