Im trying to take my first trip to tawakoni to bank for some cats with a buddy. Im about 1.5hr west, is it worth the trip with the recent rains? doing a little research it hasnt been this high in a while. I would hate to drive all the way out there, and all the banks are flooded. Should i try lavon instead? that might be a little worse since that lake is about 11ft above normal. been itching to get some lines wet since lewisville/grapevine are a no go from the bank.

I'd think it'd be worth a trip. Every time I've stayed there I've caught fish.

Lavon is higher that the T Wak and Lavon is trickier to fish right now. I fished WPP recently and not a problem. Think your better off at T-Wak/WPP

There are plenty of bank fishing spots at TWok wpp,... but with the river is full and lake water so high fish are scattered you'll most likely catch a fish here and there,... have you considered lake cedar creek?

Why do I go fishing? To catch a box of fish and/or some quality time under the sun. Thank Heaven I never fail fishing in Texas, catching box fish or plenty of sunburn.
