Last I checked the lake is up 15 feet, but I decided to go out and drift in my kayak to see if I could scrape up a blue or two. Got on the lake and the wind just absolutely died. Ended up fishing a submerged treeline and caught some nice channel cats. I'm new to the lake, but all the channel cats I've caught have been really healthy. It was neat to be floating along at treetop level.

Where in grapevine do you fish at? I heard the tires by sandbass point is a great spot for kitties.

I've been fishing the southern shoreline of the main lake.
