Does any company make a heavy action Rod for flipping 1-1 1/2 OZ jigs BUT!! with a moderate or "slow" tip? Most of these rods are too stiff. I want to be able to feel the fish before he feels me and not blow his mouth open with a hook set when using a big Rod, and heavy braid. I Know Dobyns and Daiwa makes em but I m not throwing that kinda money out there for em. Price needs to be around 80 bucks. I under stand it's a tall order. Just seeing what's out there. Thanks

Garcia makes one in their Veritas 2.0 Winch line. They also make an XH with a moderate tip.

Falcon Jason Christie Signature Series

Try the JCC-73JW. I've heard really great things about this series of rods. I have a buddy who absolutely loves these rods. They're light as a feather too! I'd say they're rather durable too, after he plunged his boat into a dock and it didn't even have a scratch on it.
