Can anyone tell me if they have a Crappie Dock or House to winter fish on Lake Murvaul? Will be in that area around the Christmas Holidays and wanting to catch some Crappie. Thanks for any advice. Ray.

I am not sure about a barge, but we used to catch a mess in some boat slips around the marina...but that was 30 years ago and it might have just been a dream..LOL
I know of few here fish the lake and will undoubtedly give you a more definitive answer.

No sir, there's not a fishing barge on Murvaul but if you have any kind of boat to fish out of the crappie will be stacked up under Dotson bridge. There is a boat ramp just a couple hundred yards from the bridge and if the wind is calm a kayak would work fine. There are still a few boat slips at the marina but I've never seen anyone fishing in them. There is a fishing pier at the marina also.

To whom much is given, much is required.

Thanks for the info, I have a boat but just not sure I want to pull it that far for a day or two of fishing.
