I know there are 'fixed' and now 'hydraulic' ....why not an 'electric' operated one? Just curious... God Bless Lee

The hydraulic plates are driven by an electric motor that powers the hydraulic pump, my guess is it would take too much juice to have an all electric plate or the electric motor would be too big, just a guess.

Did not know that...sounds reasonable. Just curious... remotely adjustable jack plate sounds like a really good idea....I see and hear more about them now vs the 'fixed - manually adjustable' one Thanks God Bless Lee
