I have a 2012 zx20. It takes forever to fill fuel tanks and I noticed today the top of one of the tanks looks like it is collapsed. Anyone have these issues.

I have seen that happen on oil tanks when the vent opening is to small or clogged. If you're not having fuel feed problems the tank may have gotten sucked down previously due to a clogged vent and just needs to be pressurized enough to re-expand it.

Just a guess based on your description.

I agree, restricted vent causing the tank to collapse due to a vacuum on the tank.

Had a new Skeeter that was hard to pump gas into, finally figured out the vent line had a dip in it,the only way to fill it was to blow into the fill hole,I finally got the vent line tied high enough to take the dip out of it,and problem solved. This may or may not be your fix, just a possibility.

I will check that out. I was running this weekend and it just shut down like it was out of gas. When I looked in the back the prime bulb was collapsed also. As soon as I switched over to other tank the bulb popped back out. I looked when I got home and there was still fuel in that tank. So not sure what's going on.

Trash plugging the screen on pick up tube on that tank would be my guess, had it happen to me a few years ago. fish

That's a venting issue, not getting any air into the tank. Think of yourself sucking on a straw with your finger on the end.

I have a 2000 skeeter and I've always had to find a gas station where I could have the nose of the boat going downhill so I could fill the tank; but my problem is due to the tank fill hole being too high vs. the tank cap height.

Definitely a vent problem. Check your vent lines for obstruction. Either something is in there or the hose is kinked
