Check out Kenner.

Be sure to check out Haynie before you make a decision. Built especially for the Gulf Coast. Tough as nails, will run fast and shallow.

I have never heard of this boat brand until I saw one on OLN this morning. http://www.contender.com/

I sure like the 21 footer.

Don't forget about Champion, there is a sweet one on ebay , it's in LA though. These babies are supposed to ride like a new Caddy.

The one that gets you back...chuckle.. smile

Seriously, there are a lot of great bay boats out there, Kenner, Mako ( same boat), K-2 Blackjack, Frontier, Pathfinder, Triton, Champion, Nautic Star, Bay Stealth, Gator bay, the list goes on and on.

I would venture to guess that Kenner/Mako and Nautic Star are the least expensive. More bang for your buck...and they are good boats. So I guess it would be determined by how much money you want to spend. The possibilities are endless. Good luck in your search for the one that fits your taste and pocketbook !

Now, Donald...please pick John Bolton for your running mate.

I would also add Majek boats.

If you are fishing flats and skinny water, a shallow draft and shallow hole shot is a must. While there are several good bay boats, many can't take off in skinny water.

If money was no object coming from an old Whaler fan I would trust anything that Bob Dougherty puts his name on.

Advantage Marine has a 20' CC with a 150 Optimax in stock. You can see this boat at the Dallas Boat show next week.

I'm a whaler man and still one. They are unsinkable. Would love to have a new 20' dauntless with a new e-tec but a salesman at the houston boat show for Marine Max told me I could not order just a boat, had to have a merc. on it. If this is true I imagin I will become an everglades man.

Nautic star is the way to go. My father has a 22'.That has to be the best rough water boat I have ever been in. It took on 8' waves on Matagorda Bay.We were on top of the waves. It took on rough water that the best bass boats on the markit would be afraid of. Plus it could get shallow.
