That's good news. We camp there frequently and I was really getting tired of closed boat ramps and empty swimming areas.

Tira boat ramp is closed(water in the parking lot) and Doctors Creek state park is flooded. Hwy 24 between Commerce and Cooper is closed.

Why did this lake not turn into the next Fork like it was planned. I fished is some with very limited success

Before the virus it was doing good, now it seems like the TPWD is fine with it being a water supply. When is the last time it had any kind of fingerlings stocked?

They are always letting water out. So constant dropping of water level. Bass do not like that.

They don't always let water out. It is pulled out for the people in the Dallas area to water their yards, drink, etc.

TP&W stocking history shows it has been stocked repeatedly with Florida strain fingerlings at nearly 1/2 million per stocking. Last deposit was 2010. Go figure??
