Fish deep main lake structure. 20 to 30 ft. Points ridges humps roadbeds. Etc. Throw crig arig and drop shot. Don't fish until you find sanbass and bait on your graph

We like to put in at Little Mustang. Then go to the end of Mustang island in the deeper water do what Deven said. There are sand bass there moat of the time. Last year I had the biggest Bass I have ever seen flash on a small Sand Bass....

Lots of fish out in 18-27 foot on the points at the south end of the lake. Graph graph and graph some more til you find them.

A-rigs, spoons, and drop shots

If you have not been since 1997 you may experience shock from the size change and the added sand bass.

Fished from about 1:00 to 4:00PM today. Water temps were 60ish. Had a fair number of bites up shallow in 2' or so just flipping hardwoods and swimming a Texas rig craw over the top of grass. Nice afternoon for sure. Loving the waether and just a good way to burn a few hours.

Nice! First time out to the lake in a few months for me yesterday and I struggled. 2 bites fishing from 9 til 4. Neither over a pound. I didn't flip much though. Mostly crankbaits and chatterbaits 2'-10', but I tried the deep water bite for awhile also. Just couldn't get anything going. Still a nice day to spend on the water and away from work.

Drop shot a robo worm on deep points and you will get bit. The nastier the cover the better. I was pulling them in the boat about every cast last weekend.
