I know the feeling. I was working in the barn today doing stuff I should have done all summer and seeing the boat sitting there all day tempted me to quit and go to the lake. Next weekend we will be somewhere trying our luck for sure.

Found a good school at Enchanted Isle in 22 fow. Maybe the biggest Sandies I have caught all year. They bit good for about 45 minutes and then moved out. Mepps #3 and small Fle Fly both produced. Schools were small and moving quickly on all other locations between Enchanted Isle and the dam. Catch a few and then move out fast. Only one short Hybrid on the day. Marked what appeared to be good schools of Hybrid but couldn't get them to bite. Dead sticking, slabs, cranks, Mepps...no takers. Kids had a good time and put several Sandies in the boat. Knee surgery tomorrow so I had to get out one more time before I'm laid up a month or so.
