Free Seminar: Bank Fishing for Winter Crappie

When: Saturday December 5 th @ 6:30pm

Where: 5001 Bass Pro Drive Garland, TX 75043 located on Lake Ray Hubbard off of I30 and George Bush

-I will go over how, when, where, and what to use to catch these tasty fish. I'll have a slide show with pictures and show yall how to rig up to hit the creeks this winter for the crappie that are waiting to go home with you. Bring the kids, Santa is there I think! The crappie are already in the Creeks! - or at least the creeks I'm fishing.


So if you have hearing issues or need a chair, get there early.

Seminar will last 45 mins to 1 1/2 hours. At the end of the seminar, I will take yall around the shop and show you what you need if you would like me too.

DO NOT CALL Bass Pro Shop asking if there is a seminar going on. There are over 800 employees working there on the holidays. Not all of them got the memo that I am coming. Call me, or ask here in the thread if you have questions. As of now the seminar is going to be downstairs where the boats are. If you must talk to somebody at basspro shop talk to fishing manager Ryan only.

As far as trips this season, we will start taking clients on bank fishing trips probably mid December. If you want on the list, P.m. me, text me, or email me that you want on the list. As soon as we start taking people, I will go through the list immediately.

Due to the amount of traffic I have had, I added two guides to help with the winter crappie run. That way everybody should have a chance to experience catching these fish from the bank of Texas. Main trips are going to run at Lake Lewisville creeks and river systems,White Rock Lake and Lake Ray Hubbard creeks and rivers systems.

I have traveled to other creeks to help people with the creeks closer to them. We will travel to your home river or creek and help you scout out your creek and teach you the basics on finding them. ( call for details )

Above: One of my guides is already scouting and doing a good job finding them. So it's looking like it might be a good year after all. I don't expect it to be a fantastic year. Just average. In three years after the Fantastic Spawn with flood water we just had it should be amazing.

I'll be there too. I just hope my kids behave lol. I don't want to miss anything but if they are making noise I'll have to take them somewhere else. They did good last time I took them to a seminar.

Looking forward to meeting you. Sounds like I'll either be looking for a guy with kids behaving like angels, or a guy that looks like he would rather be anywhere else because his kids are acting crazy.

I'll be there unless something comes up. I love taking my kids to bass pro they just get bored easy. I doubt they will be intersted in the seminar. Maybe my wife will come along and take them around the store to look at stuff while I attend the seminar. Hoping to learn some tips on how to catch some crappie in the creeks. Should be fun.

Santas world is downstairs as well. A bunch of stuff for the kids to do down there. RC trucks in a pen, coloring, Santa, etc. it should be entertaining for the kiddos.

Dang thats right I forgot that Santa was gonna be there! Problem solved!

Thanks Tarponfly for the seminar, I learned some good stuff. I had to head out at 8 family was needing to go.... then ended up walking around the store for over an hour trying to find my sons coat.... ended up buying him a bass pro coat with my gift card. It was nice to finally meet you even if all I got to say was hi.

Also nice to meet you MckinneyLonghorn! Maybe I'll see you around Allen sometime soon, maybe at the trout stocking on the 18th. I'll be out there with the fly rod giving them a try.
