Is it normal for high pressure to stick around this long at this time year? If has been above 30 since at least Wed. Right now it is 30.45 and rising. I am not sure if is even worth going out today. Might take the lunch bait along and see if I can catch some channels.

Never know if they are biting unless you get out there and fish.

I talked to a couple of boats that were fishing today. They weren't biting. Maybe with the wind switching to from the west tomorrow it'll help.

But there are tree-stumps floating that will capsize a boat. This one was about 25 feet long and about 4 foot thick in some places.

I didn't fish Benbrook but I can tell you it was most likely gonna be miserable no matter where one decided to fish. I went all over that lake last night driving the farthest up every branch that I have ever been before since the water was up so high. Answered several questions that I needed answered and I was enjoying the night ride so much 5 hours flew by like it was nothing. Laying the rods down and putting in the drive time is the best thing a fisherman can do at times for the things found and learned in question are more special. flehan cheers
