Thanks for the great post and support of the armed forces. I will say that most of the veterans on this forum will reply negative because of our your second qualification "cant afford because of the situation you are in"

I am a board member of the Lone Star Veterans Association in Houston and can give you some recommendations on some veterans that could use the camaraderie, outdoor experience or just a thank you from you and fellow TFFers but most are not in a position to even know how to use a Ron Rig.

I would be happy to set up a day where you and I can take a combat vet out on the water and help display the gratitude you meant by your original post.

Thanks for the kind words.

I have had some takers, and appreciate your insite.

I want to make this available to Veterans in need, so not sure how to word it.

I work with Take A Soldier Fishing, and most that I take out are in this prediiment, and have stated that they love to fish, but can't afford Tackle or rods. My Daughter took care of that quickly, by giving them the Rod and Reel they were using plus opened our Tackle Box,

In a sense, that is what we are trying to do.

And yes we do need to meet! I live in the Dallas Area, so I would have to schedule a or two day off.

I will phone you next week. We are also giving away Crappie Jig Heads, coated in UV blast, in the Crappie Forum.
