I really want to catch one on my fly rod. I've looked in a couple of local ponds and yet to find one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I've had trouble getting a bite lately as well, usually I keep an eye out and will see some but not the cas these last couple weeks. I usually do good in the winter so I don't think thief too cold. Your most likely fishing in carp infested water but the carp are just in a funk or I need some new bollies lol. Keep trying.

I live in Pearland and fish for cats a lot, normally 3 times a week after school and all day Saturdays. I fish independence park, villages at marys creek, marys creek, and clear creek in friendswood. I know Clear creek has some carp in it and marys creek does to in the deeper parts. Just gotta get out and explore different spots.
