I use a MinnKota 30# on my 8' pond boat, so don't need a starting battery....but for fishing all day without switching out batteries, even in the wind, I really like the Bass Pro's XPS deep cycle gel.

2 Interstate 29's for the trolling motor and whatever I had to buy to get the boat to start one time a while ago and a 2nd one of the same that's still holding a charge as a back up. These also control all the other electronic stuff on the boat. I don't know the names but I got them from the auto supply place just off the square in Pilot Point.

I've been using Exide batteries from Academy and I'm very pleased with them. No issues for over 3 yrs on this set. That being said, I just jinxed myself so the next time out one of them will die. Karma sux

For the Cranker, I got a giant 31 Group AC Delco Marine that is a hoss. Thing is as heavy as a horse, but it will carry everything for a full day. I really like the AC Delco Voyager for my trolling batteries as well. Mine are from 11, so I need to replace them. They're hard to find anymore. I'm thinking about going to lithiums but that's a lot of $$$$. Be nice to remove 210 of weight for 40 in the boat. They are getting cheaper - still looking.

I run the Sears DieHard Platinum Group 31 starting battery on my 250 Pro XS. I have never had any problems and I run 4 graphs all day with live wells and aerators going wide open. I have the Continental batteries for the TM and have been pleases with their performance as well.
