Ok. I'm ready to buy an Onix. I'm trying to decide if the touch screen is worth the $500 difference between it and the non-touch. What are some of your opinions?

Does the touch have any features that the non-touch doesn't?

Thanks for any advise.

They are both equal other than touch or non touch. We have the 10 touch at the console and the 8 non touch at the bow. Wish we would have done touch at the bow however the RC1 remote has helped big time. You can do things in a different manner that seem much easier than the buttons in touch vs non touch. I also find myself pushing buttons on the touch to navigate certain things faster.

The units do the same thing the same way. Navigating the menu system is the only difference.

Using the buttons on the cross-touch version is the same as the NT version.

I did not want a touch screen and would not have bought an ONIX at all until the NT version came out.

I got the ONIX10 SI NT to run the 360 since it has a higher resolution display than the 1100 series.
Dedicated Down Imaging is nice too, but I rarely even turn that on.

Well it's on the way. Think I bit a hole in my lip when I hit the pay now button.

Should be a big difference from the 899 I've been using.
