Im sure there are a few people on here that didn't have a clue about some of this stuff. I am sure some of the old timers on here have some pretty good tips that no one has ever thought about. Hopefully someone finds some use in this.

I am always open to trying things that make life easier on the water so let me know if you have have one.

Me too. I show you where to try it too. Lol. I know there is $600 down there. Somewhere. Figure after three weeks the reel might not be salvageable. But the rod is a custom made Cara ST Micro.

Nice video man. Also, a pool noodle attached to the wall with slits cut into it works great as a rod holder. It also works with the rods standing vertical.

great tips. i made a rod retriever and it came in handy at the pool. still have it but have not need to use it again. i used the same set up but a smaller version of the one we used at work to retrieve bodies from lakes. we called them drag hooks.

Well I guess yours might be a bit better if it retrieved bodies....
