When Robert posted his "Black Friday" deal, I jumped over for a look and sure 'nuff, he had something I couldn't live without...... well, something I NEEDED.........well, it was something I didn't have (not that exact item anyway)! I have and use often green chartreuse chenille but what I had on hand was #3 & #5 Nylon and 2-3 different sizes of Estaz (it's so expensive, I only use it on my Elite jigs, tied to order, or for my own box). Robert had a full skein of green chartreuse crystal in what he called #10 so I grabbed it. When it got here, it wasn't exactly what I was looking for as it was considerably smaller that what Danville calls #10 (see chart) Probably more like a #5 or 6. Anyway, it definitely fills a niche that I needed filling. here's my first tie from the new material. I call it my Green Goblin. It's a1/8oz #4 jig with Disco Green PPthe new chenille, Green Chartreuse hackle & Green Pearl Krystal Flash. I think it'll do well in the Summer when "The Guy" is foolin the slabs on deep timber & brushpiles. The photo doesn't do the actual color's justice.

Same skein I bought to mimic Jigums Halo Magic. I'm using it for one of the jigs in my Christmas Jig Giveaway.
I know that jig will fish in most any water. Nice job, buddy.
