Myself and Mike "USMC-GY" caught a nice variety of Redear,Bluegill, and Crappie. Redear bite is picking up due to the colder weather. Fished from 9am till 2pm and caught a bunch. We fished the Guadalupe River. Fish are holding in 8 to 12 feet of water next to structure such as docks and brush piles. The Redear are hugging on the bottom and so are the Bluegill. Jigs(Chartreuse/Black,Chartreuse/Pink),and worms were the baits used. The water was clear and stained in some areas due to recent rains. We kept a few for the dinner table and released most. After a cold day on the river we had some SUPER breakfast tacos at the Pica Taco in beautiful downtown Mcqueeney! Eating some GREAT tacos and sipping a hot cup of coffee after a great day of fishing. It just don't get any better. fish

Yes Sir the Nueces is in real good shape. The White Bass will have a clear path to their spawning areas.
