Seats are starting to crack. Boat is a 97 model and I understand that the newer material is less prone to cracking and handles the heat better. Not sure if it would be more cost effective to just buy all new furniture or have it all recovered.

Consider the age and condition of your bases. A new skin on an old seat that is no longer structural sound is short term satisfaction. If they are the original seats they are nearing nineteen years old. Depending on how long you plan to keep the pontoon, if a long time I'd go new if only a short while recover. Factor in the cost of replacing and recovering, would be a good place to start. Best price on a quality recover I've found is $100 a seat using my marinetex. I can buy seats for less so it was no question, but my seats get used and abused daily.
