Hopefully the water will clear up enough for me to catch some, but I'll be beating the banks on Friday for sure. Also trying to talk my buddy into taking the canoe up a creek.

The area lakes are pretty much unusable due to high water. Many are closed to boating. Lynn Creek Marina is underwater again.
Thank goodness for ponds with trout. I am going tomorrow morning.

Fish are very active on the Guadalupe especially the Crappie and sunfish.  Also first trout stocking on the Guadalupe will be this Friday.  Gonna stay away from the trout.(Don't like crowded area's).  Will be trying to nail some Crappie and big Redear!

Plan on spending all day Saturday on a variety of ponds around Collin County. Trying for anything that bites on the fly rod, from bass to sunfish to recently stocked channel cats.

Me and Mike "USMC-GY" broke in the trout season right. We both got limits on the Guadalupe River. Will post story!  Also will be fishing the river lakes and possibly be making a trip out to the great Southwest before the cold of winter sets in!
