Lake Park is closed until March. The date seems arbitrary...seems like they are using the flood as an excuse to do what they want to do anyway. The local bureaucrats want to turn fishing/boating into a spring/summer activity only.

That's crazy. The water will recede quickly. Hopefully they don't close Tower Bay too.

Tower Bay was closed yesterday, water was over the ramp and in the parking lot.

Hopefully Little Elm is open.

Is it even worth fishing with this much water rise? Maybe a time to visit Cedar Creek? I hear it is only up a little bit.

Unless it's 100+ degrees or 20+ mph winds, I'm always willing to fish. We did ok yesterday. Didn't find any trophys, but the eaters were biting.

Slim chance. Little elm is open but when they open the gates at ray bob it might do it in.

just watch the Trash (Logs, barely floating) where ever you go. Safety over Fishy, but then again you all know that.

TRWD is keeping the lower Trinity full right now. Almost 50K cfs between their lakes.
