Decided it was time for my success on the water to be improved by any means possible.

It seems crazy at first to fish with 5 different flies. I will be headed for the Blue soon and can't wait to give my rig a tryout on some good water. Any tips would be really appreciated. I was thinking about sinking middle, floating tip would be a good place to start. Would you troll or dabble ? Thanks

Lmbo nice. Going to be hard to beat micro chatterbait bunny sculpin fly. It's been tested and works.

Rig 'em all tandem and just let the current carry them out; sit there (standing would be too much like work) and jerk the rod tip every once in a while. A lawn chair is advised for better long term presentation.

I can just imagine seeing that fly through the air from a beautiful roll cast.

Yes, in some places and not legal, in other places. In general, this style of rig is legal in Texas, but there are some waters that have special regulations that would not allow them. This style of rig has gained popularity in the bass fishing crowd and there has been an on going debate about allowing it in tournaments. With that minnow shaped lead head on it, I'd hate to try casting it with a fly rod. Talk about chuck and duck!

I was sitting in a chaise lounge in the middle of the LRFM the other day and was bit on the private parts by a copperheadedrattlemoccasin. The doctor told me I had to make 2 cross cuts and suck out the poison. I need a new doctor after advice like that !

There is an actual A-Rig fly...it was in Fly Tyer Magazine this summer. Looked killer!

Looks like a perfect test fly for my new 25wt rod. It's designed to simulate a group of flyfishers all casting into the same spot at the same time....kind of like the evening hole on a busy weekend.
