Hi I am still trying to decide what I want to get as my first kayak and ran into these and would be interested. Anyone tried these or have any feedback?

Ive seen them up close and heard about them in detail. My opinion is nucanoe makes a fairly hard to postage kayak. I like the pursuit overall but, no feet pegs??? That is where half of your power comes from when paddling. They also never have enough scuppers. There are many kayaks in a similar class as they are. I like the santa cruz raptors. I am not trying to say dont look at the nucanoes because it is a very interesting yak. Mariner sails has that and many others. They also offer demos. If you care to try a raptor then send me a pm and we can work it out fishing.

Being a fly fisherman, I really like the layout of the deck. Lots of space to strap down gear for multi day trips. The front hatch has lots room. Seat is awesome.

The reason I didn't buy one.... having no side handles makes it hard to load on my roof solo frown. I'll wait until they do some improvements being the first model release. If not, my cuda works just fine for now...

Thanks yakintime. I have been by there many times and everyone has been so helpful. I plan on pulling trigger soon in one just trying to survive the holidays.
