Actually, sometimes you can improve your success with a double fly rig. Snell a length of 20 or 30 lb. fluorocarbon leader material down the shank of the lead fly and tie the fly over it. Tie on the rear fly, 3 to 6 (or more, if you dare) inches behind the lead fly. Then kink up the leash so when you strip the flies separate, but pull closer together on a slack line. It looks like a pair of baitfish fleeing. It can be a PITA to cast some times. I keep a few rigged up but very, very rarely use them.

Looks like a good way to add jewelry to your posterior dorsal surfaces. I would probably also add a shield to the top side of your rod, just in case.
