I plan to acquire a 24 hour virus Thursday evening that can only be cured by fishing. I need a lake within striking distance of NE Tarrant County. I see that Athens is only .77 over, how is the water clarity?
I need courtesy docks and 2 hours max travel. I don't know which lakes survived the monsoon; Grapevine ain't happening for a while and that was where I was headed.
Thanks in advance!

I don't recall a courtesy dock at Welsh. I imagine Athens would be a good choice. Wood County lakes are also good.

No courtesy dock at Welsh. But you can ease your boat up and it will be like you're walking onto a dock. You should be able to step right into your boat from the land and all be a flat surface. The lake is on!
