I'm getting ready to give In-Fisherman a shot, already have Field & Stream and Outdoor Life. Am I missing any good freshwater oriented fishing mags?

Mags are overpriced and overrated in my opinion. A dying breed like newspapers.
More info from forums and other media other than paying for an advertisement filled magazine. Had subscriptions to em all a few years back then the internet came out and I found more info from the web than I did the mags. You asked for opinions...

YouTube is more informative in my opinion. Texas Parks & Wildlife Magazine is a good one, but not all about fishing.

^^^This is true. I get it every month and like it.
In fisherman I get also because I did a lifetime membership. Wouldn't do it again though. It caters more to the northern states than Texas. And you can get as much online, if you do a few searches. IMHO

Texas Parks & Wildlfe magazine is focused on conservation issues, not necessarily a how to, where to magazine. But it does offer some of that. it does a good job of covering "issues."

In my fifties now, and have seen some things get better and some things get worse. Conservation isn't going to get less important in my lifetime, IMHO.

Bass Angler Magazine and Lone Star Outdoor News are what I subscribe to. Everything else I seek online but I do like the paper versions of these two.

I got my titles mixed up before. I get Texas Fish and Game.
And it is a good throne read. A lot of conservation slant, but also where, how, and when to catch all species in Texas waters, including saltwater. They have a mix of fishing and hunting from all over the state. They have Northern and Southern editions, depending on where you live. You can get both at their online site I think. If you come to the DFW area one of these days, I'll give you a box full of TF&G, with a few In-fisherman, maybe some BASS, Bassmaster, and North American Fisherman.
