Hello everyone,
We are still working on the 2016 schedule and rules, but one change I want to make everyone aware of is the "prepay before you prefish" rule. We will be doing away with that rule in 2016. The only off limits for the Bud Light Trail non championship tournaments will be from midnight until takeoff on tournament day.
Also, all tournaments will be scheduled as flighted starts (based on the order teams register), and only changed to trailering by the TD for each specific tournament (for weather or other special circumstances).

Does this change the end of the day too? i.e. Will it still be "stop fishing at 3PM and be in line by 4PM" or will it be "be back and checked in at 3PM like other flighted start tournaments?"

The championship tournaments had the stop time based on the flighted start times. First flight out had to stop fishing at 3 and next flight had to stop fishing at 3:15 and so on. I like the flighted starts personally as it brings about comradery at the ramp as we are waiting to start. Also hearing the national anthem gets my heart going. The version that was played at the BLT championship on the Pines was excellent!! That would be my input. take care

This past weekend, it was stop fishing at 2 pm, and had to be in line by 3 I do believe it was.

Sounds like a good deal. Trailer was good though on Texoma with a north wind. I'm looking forward to seeing next years schedule.

Squaw Creek has an earlier 2pm stop fishing time than all our other BLT divisions because all anglers have to out of the park soon after the weigh in is completed.
Normally we stop fishing at 3pm and add 15 minutes of additional fishing time per flight.
Flighted starts in 2016 will require anglers to be in line with their fish 45 minutes after their stop fishing time. Example: 3pm stop - 3:45 be in line. 3:15pm stop - be in line by 4pm
