I've had Rostra B/U cameras on my last three trucks and have been very happy with them.I can't speak to the wireless models, except that I did not see many positive reviews on them, prompting me to go with the Rostra. The monitors imbedded in the rear view mirror has very good resolution and clarity.

My Ram came with a cargo camera which was pretty much worthless to me. I installed a backup camera that feeds through the screen on the dash. Took my son and I about 4 hours to run all the wiring and do the mods.

My new Tundra came with a built in back-up camera. My old Tundra did not have one. I bought an aftermarket one called iBall that had a small monitor that plugged into your cigarette lighter and a waterproof camera with a magnetic base. I put that on my hitch and it worked pretty good. The picture rolled a little but it still was better than getting out of the truck several times to check alignment. Cost about $130.

I use the IBall all of the time on my 2010 Chevy pickup and my Ranger Polaris sportsman moving boats. I have found all kinds of uses for this camera. Example you can put the magnetic base camera at the back corner of your trailer to see when to stop backing, I used it to center tires on a ramp to work on the bearings of a tandem torsion axel trailer, used the camera to watch a fuel pressure gauge while running down the lake. Any place you have a accessory 12v plug (cig lighter) it will work. Just use the good lithium 9v battery`s.
