This weather and the holiday has had me on the bank. Had been doing great everywhere, deep and shallow the rain and cold sucks. The older I get the more of a fair weather fisherman I am, looking forward to calm December skys.

How many of you while crappie fishing, will keep a limit of under the slot bass with your mixed creel of crappie,sandbass,barfish,and catfish. You can catch a lot of different species out deep, I try to release the bass if they're not gut hooked. What the heck are those little guys doing in 30 foot.???

I keep them dang spotted bass all the time they are actually good eating.

I have only kept 15 total since the summer and put them in my neighbors pond. A week ago, I saw one of his sons out there fishing for them. Their pond had been ravaged by the drought and the birds.
Last day I fished at Fork was Wednesday with the grandbabe. She was nailing them one after another dragging a drop shot.
Was hanging with the Oz that afternoon.

Never too busy here. I have down time now and again. Like work, and charging boat batteries,nand drying out my 100mph's. Lol. But, even that's expected for a fishing addict.

Finally got caught up on work and chores... And the weather has now turned miserable.

Finally took a weekend off due after the last tournament, second weekend of November, and the gear and boat are just drying out from the rains of the first of November.

I like succulent bass, but crappie is better. And walleye is better yet. Yes, I will keep a few bass from time to time, but not very often. Once or twice a year maybe........get out there, Billy. God does not deduct from man's allotted time the hours spent in fishing. Hope all is well.

Me buddy. If it weren't for the trip two weeks ago I would be fishless this month.

I don't keep any bass. There is a ton of little ones. Good spawn this year. There is evidence that the past spawns didn't have a good survival rate due to the number of good unders that were caught this year. You can look at the tournament results and see this. I need to get out there and catch a mess of Crappie though.

Glad tournaments have slowed down so I can get a chance to just go fishing.

It gets old not being able to just pound on a school of fish you've found because you are always looking for tournament fish.

Now that December is here I can lean on them a bit, if I can find some decent fish this winter.

I haven't bass fished in almost 6 months I think. Between saltwater trips or heading to deer lease in uvalde i haven't left much time. I love some bass fishing but man does a flounder and trout taste great. Get them while I can.

Ken and Tom the crappie are bunching up along with some big bass out deep.. Doing great Tom, I'm blessed indeed to enjoy fork to her fullest, the big flutter spoon and minner bite has been super fun lately -- getcha some guys, getcha somme... I'll be back out next week for sure...

Give me a couple more weeks of healing Billy and I will jump out there with ya!

Just had my other knee replaced...got a set of knew wheels and ready to tear up the water!

I haven't been fishing in over 3 months. Two kids, a needy wife, and a busy job will do it to you.

I'm retired and didn't fish the month of November....just too busy and some lousy weather. Hopefully can get out before Christmas for a few hours.
