Absolutely the best time to fish in the rain - at the slips; it's complete with cover, wind screens, and also has a heater, and refrigerator to store essentials, and fish cleaning station!! "The Office" has all of those things and more! clap

Can't wait to get back to the USA to fish it again!

I recall some epic days in the rain. Besides it's a good deed to save the fish from drowning while it's flooding like this. thumb

If the water is muddy on Grapevine, you might as well stay home. Those fish HATE muddy water.

Same for me. Maybe it will be fishable again by Christmas. If it gets to 15 ft high it could be a few months before its back to normal. We need the rain to stop in the worst way.

Wow....just checked, and Lake Arlington is almost 8' high....It will be a while before that creek would clear up.
Find slips or fishing barge maybe the only decent choice for the time being....(LA should be closed anyway)
Stay warm and safe folks!

Went out on Eufaula (OK) today on a boat in the cold and rain. We pulled in 15 in a hour and called it a day. Depending on the dock, how high the water is, and if the brush has been dumped over it is worth it. Especially if it's covered and you don't have to get soaked.
