I just finished up the 2015 Gear Guide. All the pages link to manufacturers' websites if you want to learn more about the products. We don't have any paid advertisements in the Guide. This is all the stuff we have seen, demoed, played with or bought in 2015 that we thought you should check out. It's 73 pages of cool gear that is a whole lot more fun than looking through another JCPenny ad. Let me know what you think.

Great gift ideas here! Thanks for this! Is it just me though or is the norm now for most kayak related accessories to be about $100 and up? Exculding the little this and that mount things. Everytime something caught my eye in there and I clicked on the link button it was almost guaranteed to be over $100 lol. Anyways just a thought I had.

I think it depends but see exactly where you're coming from. Anchor trolleys, mounts etc are typically less expensive but most of the time those are the first added so they aren't the sought after items. New ideas beyond standard rigging often cost more. The new stuff often sparks that great DIY ingenuity kayak anglers are known for. Maybe some folks will find some ways to make a version of these polished models that'll scratch the itch.

Great guide Chris, loved the format, the lack of advertising clutter and the hyperlinks. Made this a very well thought out and easy read.
