Probably a little overkill for some of you guys and gals, but very cool none-the-less. With my luck, I need something like this. The battery recharging system alone makes this cool.

I built mine based off this video...Same box running two 12v parallel was all I did.
No outlets.
I just made a two way connector plug for my charger for easy plug in and charge.
Works great so far!

I don't know anything about electronics I have built this except for the charging plug and I just have one question on the charger does it matter matter what end you plug it to on the battery or does the charger take care of that .

He says it does mattes for the power supply plug, which he specifically recommends shielding the positive plug if its going to dangle free in your hull.

I built one very similar to this for charging my phone, cameras and to run a 12 volt fan while camping. It is a piece of gear that I can no longer do without!

I like this a lot, might consider a smaller fuse on the power for the FF.

Here's a diagram for a parallel battery hook up.

Thanks but I meant for connecting the charger for when I'm charging the battery back up after use .

You have to make sure you are plugging like into like, ie positive to positive, negative to negative, the same as if you were jumpstarting a car, but that is part of the initial connections. Neat thing about the 3 prong plug, once it's wired right, it will only work if it's plugged in correctly. Otherwise one pole is plugged in to nothing. Kind of a built-in safety. You might put alignment stripes on the box and plug to help your orientation.

Most twist lock plugs will only plug in one way, if you get it wired correctly it's hard to mess up after that.
