Unique, one-of-kind Christmas gifts for the fisherman or fisherwoman of all ages. Suitable for hanging anywhere in the home, office or man-cave. These make great gifts for kids who are into fishing and the outdoors. Framed and unframed prints are available. Each piece is original, created from a native Texas fish. Various species are available, including black bass, crappie, perch (sunfish), speckled trout, redfish, piggy perch and flounder. Prices vary per picture.

Gyotaku is an ancient, Japanese art form. Japanese fishermen had to prove the size of their catch by creating actual impressions of their fish on paper. These original prints are enhanced artistically for a real-live impression of Texas fish. All steps (including catching the fish!) are done by myself, including the making of some frames (antique barn-wood) and mats.

I've included a few examples in the post. For more info, contact me at (214) 695-3782 or fisharttexas@yahoo.com.
