I hear ya. Had everything in my Jeep ready to roll early this morning. Last night as I'm sitting there listening to the rain come down I thought, "dummy don't you remember the last twenty or so times this happened." Finally came to my senses and decided to stay home.

Your posts from earlier in the week had me excited to go. Might head out later in the weekend to see what the kitty's are doing.

Yep this is the 4th, yes 4th flood event for me this year in my back yard. I back up to Denton Creek which flows out of lake Grapevine thru Coppell.

This is getting OLD!!!

The last image is of my house in the back ground.

Looks as if the lakes will be getting there fair share of this again....

Goodness....looks like its time to lay the crappie rods down and put out the decoys. The back of my land may have to be reassessed as a wetlands.

Tell me about it! With a strong El Nino in place, its likely to get worse in the January-March timeframe. I keep hoping to get a break from it for a few weeks but then another multi day rain event shows up.

Drowning a jig isnt fun for me unless there is a chance a fish will get on it LOL! With lakes several ft high and rising and muddy water, that is looking less and less likely.

David - be positive about it. Go catch some crappie off the Frisbee Golf condos while you can.
