Went to Chisholm Park in Hurst today after the trout stocking. No one was doing well and as far as I can tell only a handful of trout were even caught (~5 by my count from who I talked to). I was there from ~1-6pm and didn't see anyone catch one. I ended up catching a small carp and some tiny bass and that was it!

Everyone was saying that that pond is terrible and I think they are right. Next time either greenbrair or south lakes pond for me!

Did you see anyone fishing for cats? I am still thinking of going tomorrow for some channels. It was a sad sight when I went there last time with the water so low.

Didn't see anyone going for or catching cats, but the water level seemed good to me.

Cool, maybe I'll drop by tomorrow for a bit.

I went out this morning and did not get a bite. Conditions are terrible. Winds are gusting to 25.

In general I do well at Chisholm with both cats and trout. It is a tough pond to fish. They cut back the size and number of both, though.
