My brother, sister, and I went out to Dunlap at daybreak to catch some perch
for a family fish fry this weekend. The weather was perfect. Overcast with very
light SE wind. And just cool enough to wear a flannel shirt all day. My brother
had the big fish of the day with a 10 inch Red Breast. We caught a LOT of fish
today as the bite was very strong until 1PM at which time we left the lake for lunch
in New Braunfels. We kept 10 each and returned way over a 100 to swim and grow.
All on the bottom in 10 to 12 feet of water that was near 20 foot depths. We
used worms and maggots for bait. Water temp was 65F. Just a fabulous day !
