I blew my motor a few days ago. I have a 97 Stratus Pro Elite that I want to keep. Should I just got a reman powerhead or have mine fully rebuilt? Never had one rebuilt before? This is the same powerhead for my engine listed on Ebay. Should I buy this? Looks like a hell of a deal.. He said 200.00 for shipping.

I have purchased from them, good people. That is a real good price but you are going to need about another 1000.00 worth of parts to do it right. New VRO pump, 6 carb kits, waterpump kit, 2 thermostat kits and new sparkplugs. I normally re-seal the lower unit while I am at it. What are they saying about a core? Just take your time and take a lot of pictures as you go and get a factory service manual for your motor.
