The last time I went fishing was the Saturday before Labor Day. Kirk took me out and we had an absolute ball, catching 7-8 fish over two pounds, and several others close to that mark. Once the dust clears in my life and I'm ready to get on the water again, I'll be ready for some more two pounders. I don't know if you still have those photos or not Kirk, but that was one heck of a day. Thanks again man, I'm looking forward to doing it again here soon.     You know that joke about how "we threw all the big ones back." In this case, we really did. If I remember correctly, our big fish was either 2.68 or 2.78, and a few others were 2.5. All the fish that I cleaned were less than 15", but they sure were thick. Come spring time, I'll be back with a vengeance.

Hawwwgs...I'd like to see y'all fish a tournament or 2! Hopefully I'll be able to snag a few of those bigguns this winter! Mark my word...I'll be in the 2lb klub before the end of the year
